I'd like to know what Hank and 'me' think about this 20% tariff that Trump has in mind to "pay for" the wall.
Mixed feelings actually. Keeping in mind that Trump is a negotiater, not an organizer, it's hard to tell if he's bluffing. He may have said that to get a response out of Mexico and end up with an actual good deal all the way around.

LOL!  Mexico has already stated emphatically that they are not paying for any wall.  At the end of the day, any tariff means that we are still paying for the wall through higher prices on goods coming from that country.

Bingo!  Lets see how all of these Trumpateers feel when prices at the grocery store and other places start going up.

Exactly. Mexico isn't going to pay for it.

Yep. We all know that means prices for everything that comes from Mexico will go up at least 20%, (likely 25-30%), and we will end up paying for that wall anyway.

Try to find American products, it isn't as easy as you think.

Half of the stuff at any store is from some other country, very few American products. The only way I know if it is an American produce product is if I get it from a farmer and even then the seeds may have come from a foreign country.

And it will get exponentially worse after they pollute that aquifer with those pipelines of oil, and then 90% of all grain, vegetables, and meat produced in this country will be polluted as well. . .

But at least you'll have an HSA card to pay for the doctor and medicines with.  . .

I'm tempted to put that out there for the hardcore Trump supporters I know, but I cringe at the answer they would give me.  I don't think they  understand how all that works and how it will really affect us.  I'm sure they would come up with some sort of alternative fact to make it work!  :icon_twisted:

Waste of time and effort. They are so emotionally blind they wouldn't know a moose from a turd right now.

A solid week of nothing but executive orders from the Raging Cheeto and not a peep from them surrounding the need for congressional approval and oversight, or abuse of power. . . (Both guaranteed any time the former POTUS issued ONE executive order. )

Let me see, Mexico didn't fight in WWI, nor WWII, nor Korea, Desert Sand, nor Afghanistan, nor Iraq and they don't send any kind of aid to disasters we have in this country.  I sure wouldn't call they are best allied.     They take all of our business, all of our aid and send us all of their poor and uneducated people.
