Actually, no I don't. The media is blowing this way out of proportion and ya'll are too dumb to see it.

Really?  Was Mitch Daniels blowing it way out of proportion when he said this weekend that it was illegal and unconstitutional?  How about all of the other Republican governors, house members, senators, etc.?  Are they all blowing it out of proportion?

Maybe it's you who's too dumb to see it?

Given what we've seen in just the past week, I'd say it's a given that anyone still backing him is as bat shit crazy as he is...and completely un-American as well.

So you're fine with just letting anyone into the country even though they may be terrorists then? You're fine with the fact that women are getting raped and killed by illegals who should be in prison or deported back to their home country? You're fine with the fact they want to impose their laws on us rather than obey our laws? You're fine with feeding, housing, giving medical care via our tax dollars for some who would just as soon wipe us off the face of the earth as look at us? This influx of thousands of people without going through proper channels and being checked out is getting out of hand.

I personally am not fine with just slamming the door on everyone without due process. . .

I am not fine with women being raped and killed by anyone; statistically US Citizens rape and murder more women each day than the less than 2% of the total immigrant population that does so. Shall we just deport them too? (Careful when you answer that one).

No one is imposing any "laws" upon the general population outside of the Raging Cheeto and his band of Trumpanzees. (And without due process too). Why aren't you screaming over this blitz of executive orders he is issuing?

More of your bullshit lies.

Good article.  Thanks.  I'm using it on FB to enlighten some people.  Well, if they read it and believe it, that is.

. . .In other words, most of the anti-Trump protests so far have been over symbolism and omens.

So just imagine what's going to happen if or when the largely hypothetical becomes real and the abstract becomes personal.

•If or when the numbers of people turned away from our borders, detained or deported grows from the hundreds into the tens of thousands.

•If or when millions of people lose their health insurance policies after Obamacare is repealed.

•If or when Roe v. Wade is overturned and states begin outlawing abortion.

•If or when we begin to go backward on LGBTQ rights and anti-gay discrimination is enshrined as a religious right.

•If or when prices or taxes rise to pay for an unnecessary border wall between the U.S. and Mexico and for Trump's misbegotten trade wars.

•If or when public education begins to disappear in major urban centers.

•If or when strict voter-ID laws, with their racially discriminatory effects, sweep the red states.

If any of the above hypotheticals become reality, these recent protests will seem quaint in comparison.

I wouldn't go so far as to call this the Liberal Spring, but make no mistake: After eight, sleepy, nearly torpid years of hoping that President Barack Obama and his wealthiest supporters would protect their interests, members of the left — progressives, Democrats — have awakened with a roar.

Critics complained that the Women's March on Washington was incoherent and diffuse, an airing of various concerns without an identifiable set of demands. Actually, though, the message of those rallies was quite clear: We're not cowering in the face of the Trump agenda. We're determined, we're energized and when Trump crosses the line, we'll be right back out here with demonstrations that'll make those tea party rallies of 2010 look like Tuesday morning gatherings at the dog park.

Don't miss the idealism. Many of the marchers, like many of the airport protesters, don't feel directly threatened by Trumpism. They're straight, white people of some means who have decent health insurance and probably won't be alive long enough to be mortally sickened by the poisonous air and water in a deregulated America.

These protesters organized, made signs, traveled and took time out of their lives to make a show of their beliefs on behalf of others now that they've been poked by Trump's statements and his early moves in the White House.

After ineptly playing defense and squabbling internally during Obama's two terms, the left is back on offense, angry and activated.

The evidence is not just in the crowds and first-time protesters. The American Civil Liberties Union reported taking in $24.2 million in online donations over the weekend, more than six times the total of online donations the organization usually gets in an entire year!

I've said it before and I will say it again. This country has failed, (once again), to learn the lessons of its own history and is headed hell-bent for leather toward civil war.

Sad that the match that sets off this inferno is in actuality a tyrant in the office of POTUS. And one that seems intent upon undoing everything the last civil war set into motion, and putting us back into the early 1800's.

We are living in a war zone right now. We just don't believe it yet. But it is coming. . .

To those of you who criticized the amount of money it cost for Obama to take his family on vacation or for Michelle to travel abroad or the former president's use of Air Force One, where are your voices of self-righteous indignation now?  You hypocrites can suck it!

Trump Tower security is costing the US taxpayer $400,000 every single day.

He also filed with the FEC for the 2020 election on the day of the inauguration.

He and Bannon are in this for the long haul.

What they have stirred up in people is dangerous.  In a way, I feel sorry for Trump because he's too underqualified and ill-tempered to handle the job.

I suppose the best we can hope for is that most of his cabinet picks turn out well, that the public and his handlers can reign him in on foreign policy, and that 20-30% of voters will come to their senses before November of 2020.   I'm not optimistic though.

He also filed with the FEC for the 2020 election on the day of the inauguration.

This accomplishes several things for him, none of which are in the best interest of democracy.  First, it effectively silences the voice of any non-profit that would speak negatively about him since opposing a political "candidate" is grounds for revoking an organizations 501(c)(3) status.  I'm sure his supporters, who are as corrupt and anti-American as he is, don't see this as a problem.

QuoteHe and Bannon are in this for the long haul.

It's only a matter of time until the downfall and when it happens, those on his side will be social pariahs.  If there is great civil unrest at the time, a lot of those people will end up dead.
