But, do we really want a POTUS who is learning on the job, from scratch?

That was Obama! He was about as green as any POTUS ever elected.  You guys didn't complain.

I think you are worrying about nothing.  Time will tell.

Why, just because you don't "LIKE" him?  He was Gov of Texas, a congressman and AG commissioner of TX.......He is qualified, if you like it or not.

Exactly why do you think Trump has no idea how government works is it just because the media is telling you that?

His words illustrate that.

No. From personal experience. In 1986 I went to work for the Department of Defense in the Pentagon. Top Secret clearance prerequisite. In an office of civilian and military analysts, the boss a former  Navy Commander. I typed analysts' papers until I got a feel for what kind of office I was in, then moved to proofreader. The office did basically investigative work, culled information from a variety of sources, verified or not, then passed it to the boss, who approved or sent it back for changes. Then he passed it up to his boss, who was a General.

Anyway, that's where I learned about how the government works. As well as a few other things.

My brother has spent his life first in law enforcement in the military (was the CID Chief at Ft. Hood and a personal bodyguard for 2 secretaries of defense) and then in various intelligence positions after he retired from the Army (DOD, Dept of the Interior, State Dept., etc.) and he agrees with your assessment of Trump.  Call me strange but when it comes to whose judgement I give more weight and the choice is between a couple of uneducated Andertuckians or the current Special Agent in Charge of Investigations for the Overseas Operations Division of the U.S. Department of State, I'm inclined to choose the latter.  Just sayin'...

Bill Gates is now comparing him to JFK...

I'm sure he's hoping Trump's presidency ends the way JFK's did.

I fully agree with you, Henry Hawk....I think Trump is a very intelligent man.  We all have seen how most all in DC look out after only each other.  I think Trump will be for the ppl.

He had a hell of a lot more governmental experience than the Raging Cheeto does. And it has been proven to you dozens of times herein and yet here we are 8 years later and you are STILL spewing that tired old bullshit.  :roll eyes:
