The biggest losers in last nights election aren't just the 59,814,018 and counting Clinton voters.  It's all of us; it's the planet.  Trump has already appointed - before the election - one of the biggest climate science deniers to head his EPA transition.

Yep! So here goes all of the global warming initiatives right down the crapper. And oil drilling is going to go wild. By the time Trump leaves office melanoma will be rampant and the oil reserves will be damn near dry. . . Leaving us at the mercy of the world. . .

Come on, guys!  We all know that climate change is just a hoax.  Trump says so.  ""The concept of global warming was created by and for the Chinese in order to make U.S. manufacturing non-competitive." and "Obama's talking about all of this with the global warming and ... a lot of it's a hoax. It's a hoax. I mean, it's a money-making industry, OK? It's a hoax, a lot of it."    :spooked: :icon_evil:

This is a telling graphic.  Trump didn't win because he was vastly more popular, or carried a resounding mandate.  He won because Democrats stayed home.  Why they stayed home is arguable, but we're all going to pay a price for it.

I think a lot of them were pissed because of what happened to Bernie. I think the outcome would have been different had he been the nominee.

Oh, I'm over it Hank.  My conscience is clear, as I didn't have a hand in what's about to happen.

I wasn't the one who validated and endorsed all of Trump's misogyny, racism, xenophobia, and bigotry with my vote.  I didn't rubber stamp the message that if you're an immigrant, or a refugee, or even worse, a Muslim, that you're not wanted here.

I'm not the one that said, "Yes Mike Pence!  All of the actions that you took against the LGBTQ community by weaponizing your religion is what I want, not only for Indiana, but for America."

That's all on you and people like you.  You did it; you own it.  Yet unfortunately, we'll all suffer for it.

And before you say you're in the majority, you're not.  The majority of people voted for Clinton.  But we're faced with the possibility of 8 years that are potentially more disastrous than the term W served, given to us by the same electoral college that gave him the presidency despite the popular vote being for Gore.

It's going to be a wild ride, so buckle up.  I'm afraid it won't be pretty.

Outside of Trump starting a nuclear war, I doubt I'll suffer much at all but people like Henry and 'me' will and they deserve everything they get.

That's ok.  One of these days, nature will start fighting back and when she does, she will be an angry bitch.

Hannity sums it all up for me with this statement....
"It's a choice between Donald J. Trump, a candidate who says he'll drain the swamp in Washington and bring about real change, or Hillary Clinton, the most corrupt career politician who's ever run for this office." – Sean Hannity

By the way, I think this is starting to hold up as a very true statement.

How exactly is the election of a new president going to "drain the swamp?"

Sorry, can't afford to buy you steak since I lost tens of thousands of dollars in the market last night.  Trump's off to a great start!

How about that steak now?

The Dow Jones industrial average has closed at a new alltime high, as Wall Street continues to assess the impact of Donald Trump's election victory.

By imposing term limits on members of Congress, putting a freeze federal hiring, and banning lawmakers and White House staffs from becoming lobbyists for five years....just for starters.

Do you even know what it would take to impose term limits on members of Congress?
