Ok, but where were the riots and property destruction happening? Does that tasteless cartoon really hurt anyone?

Tasteless?  It's true!  I know people who called him the anti-Christ.  And Trump himself said the election was going to be rigged, but never said anything like that after he won.

I know people who called Bush the anti-Christ so what's your point?

I never heard Bush called that either but have Obama. If Bush was called that in and by the media, where is it? Of course, she won't post the links to show that. It was she heard that he was called that.

Here ya go

https://search.yahoo.com/yhs/search?p=bush+the+antichrist&ei=UTF-8&hspart=mozilla&hsimp=yhs-004

I checked out your link, and after losing some brain cells with the stupidity of it, I found out this.  The first hit on the list has NOTHING to do with Bush.  It's an end of times website to sell end of times books.  No mention of Bush.  The Amazon link lists one book about the subject.  Another link, nothing to do with Bush being the antichrist.  And yet another site has this.  "Is Bush the coming Antichrist or Man of Sin? I don't think so".  The few that do mention Bush being the antichrist are right wing evangelical fundie nut jobs.

13% of Americans believe Obama is the antichrist.  There is no statistic I can find on people believing the same about Bush.

People have also called the Pope, Henry Kissinger, Gorbachev, Napoleon, Hitler, Reagan, JFK, Nixon the antichrist.  Other than the Pope, Obama is probably the only one to be constantly called the antichrist.  When I used to go to church, that was all I heard about him, and there were often big discussions about how he was bringing in the end times. I never heard that when Bush was in office.

I don't go to church which probably explains why I never heard that about Obama.

I couldn't even get the link to work so I wasn't going to waste my time trying. You are a better person than me to work at that.

I didn't hear it only at church.  FB and the internet was full of it, too.

Here's a "fun" website to look at. It's promoting the book, Antichrist 2016-2019 Mystery Babylon, Barak Obama, and the Islamic Caliphate  http://antichristobama2016.webs.com  Here's a sample of how wacked out it is:

"Ask yourself: Has the media deliberately prepared our minds to accept Obama as President during an end-of-the-world crisis? In 1997's "The Fifth Element," Tommy Lister plays President Limberg when an astronomical alignment brings a "Great Evil" whose purpose is to destroy life.  In 1998's "Deep Impact," Morgan Freeman plays President Tom Beck when the Earth is threatened with an ELE – an Extinction Level Event - from a comet hitting the Earth.  In 2005's "Left Behind III: World at War" Louis Gossett Jr. plays President Gerald Fitzhugh until he is killed during the Tribulation.  In 2009's disaster epic "2012" Danny Glover plays President Thomas Wilson when solar flares lead to a pole shift with global tsunamis - killing almost everyone.
These movies were made BEFORE his presidency.  Is the media NOW preparing our minds to accept Obama as MORE than just a President?  Has the media ever portrayed a president to be such a Messiah?"

Damn.  I lost more brain cells!

I like to learn, PL.  Of course, I'd rather learn truth and facts, but sometimes you need to weed through sites to do so.  It's like I told Me on a different thread (More on Trump),

Unlike you, Me, I look at ALL sources.  When I look up something, I don't simply accept the first thing I see as gospel, but I dig deeper.  Remember the yahoo link you put up on another thread about Bush being the antichrist and how I refuted three of the sites listed?  Obviously, you didn't check what you were posting.

If someone provides FACTS that oppose what I know, I will accept it.  The only time I was programmed to believe a certain way was when I was an evangelical christian and taught not to question.  I've left that shit and now think for myself, ask questions, fact check, and discuss things with other intelligent open minded individuals.  Which is one of the reasons l like working at the library.

BTW, I clicked on the link, but nothing came up.

If I had the time today, I probably would have weeded through some sites also but today is a busy day with daughter in a drama class and son in some stuff.

I really hate to put a wet blanket over the End of Times people.  But, there is no God, there is no Jesus the son of God, there is no Anti Christ.  If the damn Christians would just read their fucking bible, they would see that god said the no one would know the end of times.  No one would know the anti Christ until is was to late.  There was no big flood, oh they might of crucified a criminal, rebel rouser who cause trouble in the temple.  But it wasn't god coming back as Jesus Christ to hang himself on the cross to forgive all of the sins of the people who he made sinners by throwing the first couple out of his garden for eating his fruit.   :preach:  :pope:  :ghost:    :haha:  Give me a break.     The people who believe all of this crap, gave us Trump.   :trustme:
