The Troll

All I got to say about this election is.  I have never felt so low.  Feeling like there is no out for the small person.  Like climbing on a Tiger's back and if I and my wife fall off there is no time for recovery and all we have worked so hard for lost.  To me is seems like the inmates of the insane asylum is now running the place.  The Three Stooges as the doctors handing out the cures.

The super rich started all of this with the election of Ronald Regan, Newt Gingrich;s contract for America.  The election of  George H.Bush and his getting together with Mexico President and Canada's Prime Minister to sign for the enactment of NAFTA and the start of Free Trade.  And let us not forget the Tea Party.  All planned and paid for by the Super Rich.  I feel we are in for some real problems.

Sorry, can't afford to buy you steak since I lost tens of thousands of dollars in the market last night.  Trump's off to a great start!
Guess you got depressed a little early over the stock market huh?

Why would I be depressed?  We have plenty of money in a diversified portfolio of savings and investments, no debt and I still have a six-figure income that is pretty safe as long as there are rich people spending money.

You're just glib because you have nothing so you have nothing to lose.

The people who need to worry are those who will be affected should he enact the trade policies he's talked about.  I hope that he dismantles the social safety nets first so that his supporters really suffer but feel sorry for the people who didn't support him who will be affected.
Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

I have everything I want and need to make me happy and it doesn't involve money like your happiness and needs seem to.

Come back and tell us that when you're homeless, cold, hungry and can't afford to go to the doctor.

Believe whatever you want.  It isn't like I'll ever have to worry about my mortgage being foreclosed on.  LOL!

We do actually have a small mortgage but it's held by a trust which is why I'm comfortable saying that we have no debt.  The reason for doing so is that we can deduct the interest that we're paying ourselves from our taxes.  Is that a beautiful thing or what?

My sky isn't falling.  I have an interview set up for a job that will pay $125,000/year, and the phone still rings pretty quick when I float my resume.  I'm sitting good right now.  ;D

I'm with Ex in that my career is pretty safe as long as there are rich people spending money.

That's absolutely the best way of doing things.

I did that with a car one time.  I had my company lend me the money, and I paid myself back with interest.  ;D

By 1958 I had my house paid for and was out of debt.  In the middle of that year I bought a big diesel truck and I paid cash for it.  My wife and I have not bought any thing on credit since 1958.  We do have credit cards and they are payed off at the end of the month.  One thing for sure, it sure has felt good being out of debt and you can't rent a car without a credit card.

We don't have any debt or credit cards. I don't believe in them but we do have a bank card that we use to reserve hotel rooms, and things like that. It was the way I was raised to have no credit cards and a bank card we have does the same as a credit card without the high interest rates even though if we had a credit card it would be paid off whenever we would use it. We just don't. I like having no debt.

Yep, my husband's career is pretty safe also. I have a 401K and I am not worried about it either.

The biggest losers in last nights election aren't just the 59,814,018 and counting Clinton voters.  It's all of us; it's the planet.  Trump has already appointed - before the election - one of the biggest climate science deniers to head his EPA transition.

Yep! So here goes all of the global warming initiatives right down the crapper. And oil drilling is going to go wild. By the time Trump leaves office melanoma will be rampant and the oil reserves will be damn near dry. . . Leaving us at the mercy of the world. . .
