Got my macaroni salad made to take to my daughters tomorrow and the rest of it will be on her and the rest who are coming. Sunday is our big day here with hubby's daughter's, their hubby's, the grandkids, and his sister. I'll be cookin' some Sat and doing the main course Sunday.

Husband deep fried our turkey and he made the dressing. I made the sides and everyone but myself was in a turkey coma by 3pm. I hope everyone had an enjoyable day

Brownies (yes plural) with icing and a maraschino cherry on top. Washed them down with a nice, cold, tall glass of moo-juice too.  :drool2:

Boxed or homemade brownies?  I've been trying to find a thick chewy fudgie  brownie recipe for years.  I only find ones that end up tasting more like cake so I always use a box mix.  Anybody have a recipe for chewy fudgie brownies?

That sounds good. Christmas Eve, I will be making red velvet cake, coconut cake, jam cake, bourbon balls, white and chocolate fudge and gingerbread men to take to my Dad's for Christmas Day.

I'd sure like to have your recipe for the crust. This is one area wherein I have zero capacity and the crusts I have made just don't hit the mark at all.  :mad:
