It took me a minute to like it too.

Honestly, I like the chocolate one better, but I've learned to like it. I just can't think of it as "milk". I grew up on fresh milk and absolutely love it, but I drink the silk stuff as something different.

I am seriously addicted to milk, and have been all of my life. Seriously. I used to go through about a gallon a day, but my calcium levels became so elevated my doctor once asked me why because he couldn't figure it out. When I told him how much milk I was drinking, he said, "OMG! STOP IT!" And then told me to switch to skim. . .

I compromised. I drink about a half gallon a day now, of 2%. . .

  By rights the skim milk should have a much calcium as whole milk.  They just take out the butter fat.  With someone looked on milk, skimmed wouldn't taste as good a whole and I agree to that.   Colored water.  :biggrin:

"Stop it" was related to cutting down drastically, and the skim recommendation was related to the fat part.  :biggrin:

Ran across a recipe for beef stroganoff fixed in the slow cooker yesterday and had all the ingredients so fixed that, boiled and buttered 'taters, and broccoli for supper.  Turned out quite good but is sure is a lot for just two people.  Think I'll cut it in half next time.

   Rummaging through the candy shelf at Marsh's I found some Corn Nuts.  I didn't think they made them anymore.  Sure are good for a change.
