CNN has called Sanders the winner.  Ted Cruz has dropped out.  Yikes.  Trump as the Republican nominee?

He didn't "drop out" he suspended his campaign. I guess that still keeps him available for a contested convention and if he actually dropped out he could no longer keep what delegates he already has.

I cannot believe I live in a state chock full of Rump Chumps! 

Well, over half the states in this Country are chock full of Rump Chumps.......More people than ever in the history of GOP primary voting has cast a vote for him....with 9 or 10 more states to go....he is redefining the republican party.......and I think it is has potential to be better than ever.

He didn't "drop out" he suspended his campaign. I guess that still keeps him available for a contested convention and if he actually dropped out he could no longer keep what delegates he already has.

Actually, that has more to do with the ability to continue to raise funds, if necessary, to retire any debts that may be due and payable by the campaigns of those who have suspended.

They do get to keep their delegates too if they so choose.

This is starting to scare me, but I agree with you once again on something political!!!!!  Once upon a time, I liked Cruz........but after hearing him 7 days a week, for the last 10 months......I cannot stand his voice or even looking at him..... and I don't believe half of what is coming out of his mouth.....

Wonder what ole' Cruz, his wife, and his dad, think about their obvious misinterpretation of "God's will."    


My son Ted and his family spent six months in prayer seeking God's will for this decision. But the day the final green light came on, the whole family was together. It was a Sunday. We were all at his church, First Baptist Church in Houston, including his senior staff. After the church service, we all gathered at the pastor's office. We were on our knees for two hours seeking God's will. At the end of that time, a word came through his wife, Heidi. And the word came, just saying, "Seek God's face, not God's hand." And I'll tell you, it was as if there was a cloud of the holy spirit filling that place. Some of us were weeping, and Ted just looked up and said, "Lord, here am I, use me. I surrender to you, whatever you want." And he felt that was a green light to move forward.

I was wondering the same thing.  Maybe they should have spent three hours on their knees.  Might have gotten up too soon.
