I think I am going to vote for Cruz in the Republican primary today just because I think a contested convention will offer great entertainment value!
Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

No doubt it would!

Unfortunately, I don't think Cruz is going anywhere even if he loses Indiana today.  He's like the guy that keeps asking for a date and won't give up even though the girl repeatedly says no.  It's like that exchange from the movie  Dumb & Dumber:

Lloyd Christmas: I want to ask you a question, straight out, flat out, and I want you to give me the honest answer. What do you think the chances are of a guy like you and a girl like me ending up together?

Mary Swanson: Well Lloyd, that's difficult to say. We really don't...

Lloyd Christmas: Hit me with it! Just give it to me straight! I came a long way just to see you Mary, just... The least you can do is level with me. What are my chances?

Mary Swanson: Not good.

[the background soundtrack music suddenly stops]

Lloyd Christmas: [he gulps, his mouth twitching] You mean, not good like one out of a hundred?

Mary Swanson: I'd say more like one out of a million.

Lloyd Christmas: [long pause while he processes what he's heard] So you're telling me there's a chance. YEAH!

;D

now THAT is funny!!!

And Ted Cruz didn't even bother to help her back up.  He was probably too mortified and embarrassed that his VP choice just fell out so ungracefully like that.  ;D

Funny story...

Last weekend there was a national dog show in Indy and the host hotel was the Westin at the airport.  Some of the competitors noticed when they arrived at the hotel that Ted Cruz's bus was parked in the parking lot.  A little later at dinner, someone mentioned the bus and the conversation eventually turned to Carly Fiorina.  One of the ladies at the table (who can sometimes be a bit loud) said, "I can't stand her; she looks like she sucks on lemons all day!"

Unbeknownst to them, Fiorina was sitting a couple of tables away and yelled back, "I can hear you!"
