Statisticians have done the research and one thing is for sure; given the divisions within the republican party the democrats are all but assured the White House in the next election. Hum, seems like Obama was doing that to pay for a lot of his programs and that was perfectly ok with you. I do believe, if you'll listen to that again he was saying that tongue in cheek rather than seriously.

I may be wrong, but my guess is that all is well for the Democrats.  Aside from Hillary's substantial lead, I have heard Bernie say more than once when asked if he would support Hillary, not yes or no, BUT that he will go to any lengths to keep a republican out of the White House. And, there's no reason to doubt that Hillary would to the same.

I worried a little about Elizabeth Warren and Hillary, but in case you didn't hear over the weekend, she (Warren) tore into He Who Would be King (Donald Trump)  :biggrin:.

One more thing about Bernie: I can understand how/why he intends to hang in there:  what a chance for a 72 year old man to get such an enthusiastic audience. All that attention has to be really heady stuff!!!
