You post on topic, and then someone screws it all up with some off topic comment. . .

I hate when people don't understand the difference between words such as "our" and "are" or "one" and "won". Judgmental? Maybe. But they're effing stupid.

I doubt it in this case, but you've got a point lol I fight autocorrect at times. ;D

Then again, there's times I say, "screw it, they know what I'm trying to say" but it reads like a Nigerian scam letter. lol

Too bad there isn't an option to shut it off.  Or is there and it's just that no one does?

You can shut it off.  At least you can on the iPhone.

Pretty much the second one. On the BB it waited for approval. The iPhone makes command decisions sometimes lol

Tonight I watched "Rock of Ages" on demand. I'm glad that I waited until it was free and as a matter-of-fact it was SO horrible that I almost feel like calling Cox cable and asking for my money back. ;D if you are a fan of hair bands at all, then save yourself the agony and do something more interesting with your time like watching paint dry. I did watch the whole thing because i enjoyed the soundtrack (despite the fact that none of the songs were sang by original artists and were used to turn the movie into a rock-n-roll musical).

Really, really bad :puke:

You assholes that drive around at night with your bright lights / hi beams on deserve to be horsewhipped. You blind every single motorcyclist out there at night, making it impossible to see those dead raccoons, opossums, or anything outside of the white line at the shoulder.

Dim your lights when oncoming traffic is present you asshats!

I hate it when I drive a car - I don't ride my bike anymore due to my health.

The new piercingly bright bulbs coupled with folks never having their headlights aimed correctly, and then driving around with their brights on is absolutely blinding.

One is lucky to be able to see the white line at the edge of the road - if it's even there.

Law of Logical Argument - Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about.  ;)

"You've probably noticed that opinion pollsters go out of their way to include as many morons as possible in surveys ... I think it's dangerous to inform morons about what their fellow morons are thinking. It only reinforces their opinions. And the one thing worse than a moron with an opinion is lots of them." -- Scott Adams

In other words: Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  ;)

"It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his salary depends upon his not understanding it." -- Upton Sinclair

"Hitler is gone, but if the majority of our fellow citizens are more susceptible to the slogans of fear and race hatred than to those of peaceful accommodation and mutual respect among human beings, our political liberties remain at the mercy of any eloquent and unscrupulous demagogue." -- S. Somehow, I've found myself in the business of motivating people to workout. I organize weekly free workouts on Saturday mornings. It's hot, it's summer and I'm having trouble organizing free instructors because they're on vacation or the time slot isn't working out. We don't have an indoors location anyway, so with the temps, it's a bad idea. Soooo I put the free "organized" workouts on hold until late August. I keep information about classes (fees involved) and I have offered to walk, run or attend a class with anyone as long as it fits into my schedule. I don't get paid for this, it's a labor of love. Soooo I had one of the other nutrition coaches scold me tonight because her client is complaining that she's losing motivation and needs the Saturday morning classes. My response? Volunteer to walk with her or go to a class with her? I volunteered the same for all of the fit club participants and no one had taken me up on it. After the coach got her face together she said, she doesn't want to go to any of the classes because they cost money. I pointed out that many of them are only a $5 drop in fee. She just shook her head. I said, "then it looks like you need to arrange a group walk with your clients". She laughed and said, "that's not my thing".  So, if her client falls off the wagon, it's my fault? No, it's her client's  fault for making excuses, but it pisses me off that this other coach would enable her like that.

Seriously, any of these other coaches can pick up the ball and run with it, but they stand back and let me do it. I don't mind, because I love to help people, but I think I've put myself in a position to be used.

Yes, that white line.  I keep my eyes on it "if it's there." I have glaucoma in one eye, so it's hard for me to drive at night because of the bright headlights, coming towards me or close behind me.   The worst for me is a rainy dark night and I have to drive somewhere.
