The Troll

There is one thing I remember about dear old Nancy.     It was her idea :idea2: for the "WAR AGAINST DRUGS"     What damn good has the law done.  One big thing, give thousands of people criminal records for Marijuana and cost the tax payers millions and millions and millions of dollars.     She sure was one hell of a brain trust, because we have more drugs than before her law.  :rotfl:  :rotfl:

Are you on drugs right now?  You make NO freakin sense half the time.

Nancy didn't have any "LAWS".  She had a campaign against drugs. "just say no".  That was it. She encouraged kids to say NO.  That was about it.  Overall, a pretty good thing for a "first" lady to do.

I think she was very eloquent, and a classy "First Lady".

Not my favorite first lady, but I do think she was elegant and a poised representative of our country.

There is one thing, if you're rich, you can be elegant and poised, because that's all you have to do.   :@#%&:

She was one HELL of an advocate for her husband when he got sick, and defended him tooth and nail all the way to his death and afterwards.

You rarely see that in the typical wealthy individual. Usually they're more focused on getting a bigger slice of the pie the deceased left behind; but not Nancy R.!

She definitely did that and their love was never wavering, it endured her prescription drug use long before he was in any political offices, his being shot in an assassination attempt, her breast cancer and then his long journey into Alzheimer's. Not many couples would have lasted those kinds of trials. She remained a very private person.

Remember when at the end of his funeral she leaned over the casket and touched the flag covering it. You could tell she was telling him a final goodbye. It was so personal and touching.

I do. My office closed that day in honor of his funeral. I watched it on television. In my honest opinion, they had a great and grand love.
