  What I want to know is, what in hell is wrong with the wheat belt.  In the book "What's wrong with Kansas".   The poorest county in Kansas with an average income of $18,000 a year, voted 92% Republican.   Why?  They were against abortion and gay marriage.  They voted against their own self interest.  Believing in the bible and listening to their preachers must drain their brains away.  OMG.  :lol:

  This election hangs on what the Republican voter suppression voter ID bill will hurt the Democrats.  It is amazing what under handed methods the Republican Dirty Tricks Team will do to win an election.  They went out an hired a man who has a  past voter fraud violations and give him $3 Million to commit greater voter fraud.  Telling him not to use any name that he had used in the past to commit voter fraud.  And this is Hanks #1 party and Mitt and Paul is his #1 candidates.  Henry :no1:  :haha:  :haha:

Let's take a quick look at today's data.  Currently, North Carolina (15 electoral votes) is an exact tie, so the map isn't assigning those electoral votes to either candidate and has them listed in the 'tie' column.  That leaves the remaining electoral count allocated to Obama at 332, and Romney 191, with 270 or more needed to elect.

Now let's look at the swing states which at this point could possibly swing Romney's way.  Those would be the ones deemed 'barely Democratic' on the map, and where polling data have consistently shown an Obama lead by various margins in past weeks.  They consist of Florida (29 electoral votes), Virginia (13 electoral votes), Iowa (6 electoral votes), and Colorado (9 electoral votes).  Now if all of those states, plus North Carolina eventually end up going to Romney, and that's a HUGE if, then he can win.  He would have to win North Carolina (currently listed as a dead tie), and turn every last one of the swing states that are currently leaning Obama into red states.  While nothing is impossible, I just don't see that as very likely.

Romney has an extremely difficult row to hoe to win this election.
