We went to see Dunkirk today. It was excellent, well worth the time and money.

My sister had a wreck last week. Woman ran a red light and hit driver's side of my sister's car. No one was injured except for a few bruises on my sister. Totaled her car. The other woman spoke no English, had a Maine driver's license, the car belonged to someone else and the insurance company listed has never heard of either person. We figure they are in Montana or somewhere else far away. Aggravating.

Our friends that live in Georgia brought me a dozen Georgia Peaches fresh from the tree. Biggest damned peaches I've ever seen in my life and sweet as sugar.

Damn do I love me some peaches.  :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

Enjoy a couple for me. We love Georgia peaches but they don't carry them long at the fruit market. The S. Carolina ones are good but nothing like the Georgia peaches.

That sucks.  Glad none were hurt.

I'm eating them, but a cobbler may be in the near future if they start getting over ripe.  :headbang:

I just finished reading I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou. I have admired her for awhile after seeing her on tv years ago. The book is an autobiography and I broke my own rule of not reading autobiographies. I enjoyed reading it and was pleasantly surprised to find it lacked both the poor pitiful me and how great I am storylines. Good book.

We spent last weekend in GA at our son's home. Two of the grandkids and the great granddaughter came up from FL. It was good to see them. On Friday we went to an escape room. We failed miserably but we had a really good time. Next time we will go in with a plan.😊. Has anyone else been to one? The theme in ours was 1950 mental institution. It was dark but not really scary. We all used the flashlight app on our phones to read clues.

Been planning on going to an Escape Room for quite some time.  It sounds like great fun!

How did you fail miserably?  ;D

We didn't even get out of the first room. The room had hidden boxes, clues that could only be viewed with a black light, visual and audio clues on a monitor and six or seven combination locks and after you found the correct combination for each one there was a clue, some buried in the middle of a medical report, that eventually led to a second room. The second room, which we only open up because the monitor told us how to open the door, had more locks and clues.

We did have a great time. Next time we decided to appoint a leader and give each person a job. Maybe a little organization would have helped😁.

Good to know!

May help in planning my own venture!  :big grin:
