Luca Stricagnoli. Remember that name. At the link above you can view several videos of him playing acoustic covers of a variety of genres of music. By himself.

Among the most talented guitarists / musicians I have ever had the pleasure of hearing / seeing. And he's only 23 years old.

I love his version of Thunderstruck and the theme from Braveheart, especially. But every single one of his pieces are just amazing!

Please watch any one of them. 3-6 minutes of your time and your choice. I promise you will be amazed at what you see and hear.  8)

This kid is going places!

Just in case anyone cares, I am currently sitting bedside with my father which has pnuemonia.  Not much fun.

Drs says he should recover but his mind is pretty confused.  Trying to keep him comfortable but tough to do with nurses barging in every hour or two checking his vitals.  Long night!

Hope your father gets better. It isn't easy on the elderly when they are sick or their kids

Locutus

Sorry to hear this HH.  I hope he makes a full recovery.

This time of year is always hard on our Elders. Hope things are looking much better this day Hank!

My Mother-In-Law fell yesterday and cracked her head open. 17 stitches, 9 staples, and 5 hours later she was back at home and feisty as ever.

She's 83 and gets around better than a lot of 30-somethings I know. Scared the living hell out of all of us.  :spooked:

Mine is too. She still does everything a 40 year old does, and I always get onto her about taking risks. She gets mad at me for buying her things I know she likes or wants, but I know deep down she appreciates it. Always threatens to give me a black eye, and I just stick my chin out and tell her to take her best shot.  :big grin:

I love her just as much as I love my own mother and she has treated me like a son from day one.  :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

So this is a little creepy:  http://www.cnn.com/2016/02/21/asia/thailand-angel-dolls/?iid=ob_homepage_deskrecommended_pool&iref=obnetwork

It makes me remember a Twilight Zone episode starring Telly Savalas.  "Living Doll" is the name of the episode.  "Talky Tina, a doll that does everything, a lifelike creation of plastic and springs and painted smile. To Erich Streator, she is the most unwelcome addition to his household - but without her, he'd never enter the Twilight Zone."
In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on. Robert Frost

Perhaps the butterfly is proof that you can go through a great deal of darkness yet become something beautiful.

Locutus

Very strange indeed.

BTW, Telly Savalas??  How old are you?     ;D
