Thoughts on the school resource officer in Carolina?

Thoughts on the school resource officer in Carolina?

Over the top, I guess. The officer probably called someone to help him remove her from the classroom. I saw a couple different videos and she certainly was disruptive and non compliant with the adults. I don't think they should have fired the officer.

I agree. Some of my friends and I were talking about how back in the day, the principal or teacher would bust an ass for acting that way. I know then parents decided that corporal punishment was too much and now we are left with a bunch of spoiled, acting out disrespectful bunch of brats who think  that it is abuse if they get a spanking. I spank our kids and although they aren't perfect, their teachers all say they are well mannered and respectful. I have told them that I get a call from the school and I will be up their tearing their asses up.

I'm glad they fired the asshole.   The kids called him officer SLAM, does that give you any idea of what a bully he was.  He was going to hurt one of the kids really bad like busting their skull open on the concrete floor and I suppose you still wouldn't have wanted him fired.

If you watch the video you'll see that she was fighting him and it caused her chair to tip back, he did not throw her to the ground. She was being a brat and deserved what she got.

The kids are coming out in support of him so obviously he was well liked. Seeing the caliber of kids that school resource officers have to deal with he was doing his job. Did he go over board, probably but seeing as how none of us were there, hard to say.

I'm not going to post any links, but on the way to work I heard a commentary about how WE, the United State government, spent nearly 46 million dollars on a gas station in Afghanistan!

It was supposed to be a $500,000 project that ended up spending $46 million on?

It doesn't even have a slurpee machine....

THIS is the kind of BS that has GOT to stop!!

$46 million goes a long way to helping to buy school books, medicine and hundreds of other ways that benefits Americans.....

Are gov is TOO BIG.

I think the government has to be big to fight the big white shirt criminals.  Our problem is we have elected too many big time spenders who have made being a elected politician a full time job.   It seems their main job is taking care of the rich, just take a look at the Republican's record.

I thought about if I should post this or not.........and I am trusting that we are all "family" on here so to speak....

In honor of Veterans Day, I thought I would share this with you guys...My Dad is the top right.  He and my four uncles were all at war at the same time.  The Hearld/Bulletin did a story on it.

All of them have passed except for my father, who is 92 years old.  He is still pretty sharp, but doesn't get around too well.
