I agree on that!! I probably could eat it as long as I didn't see the cheese whiz from a can put on it. Got burnt out on that when I was a kid from my mom! Some foods you never forget-cheese whiz, tuna casserole, liver! Yuck!

I love liver and onions! And now I can get it on the senior menu at IHOP.

That does sound good.  I just might have to fix some this week.  Liver and onions w/gravy, mashed 'taters, and green beans...   :eat:

I just could never do liver and onions. Lol, I grew up where we raised beef cattle and so beef was a huge staple in our diets but I sure couldn't eat liver and onions; no matter how my mom tried to disguise it.

I agree, and I didn't think I would like it, but everybody told me I HAD to try it....and I am glad I did.  I'm sure it is not highly nutritional, but HOLY COW it tasted magnificent!

There's a restaurant in Philly called Hip City Veg and they have a vegan "cheesesteak". Ahhhhhmazing!

About three years ago I went to a small restaurant in Florida by the name of 'Grandma's' and got her liver and onions.  I got the worse case of food poison you ever seen, I was was so weak and sick I lost a week of my vacation.  :puke:  :spot:  :puke:  :spot:  :puke:  :spot:  I hadn't ate any liver since that time until about a month ago.     Found some fresh liver and the meat counter and I fried it with a lot of onions.  :drool1:   Sure was good.   :trustme:
