Oh, you valley girls....ready for some munchies?
Ignorance and fanaticism are ravenous. They require constant feeding.

Ummm... how shall I put this?

... the onset of munchiness is predicated by a specific external stimulus.

I pulled in to Nazareth,
I was feelin' 'bout half past dead.

So let's get to the point, let's roll another joint
Let's head on down the road
There's somewhere I gotta go
And you don't know how it feels
You don't know how it feels to be me - TP

There's pigeons down on Market Square,
She's standing in her underwear.
Lookin' down from a hotel room,
And nightfall will be coming soon.
Oh my, my, oh hell yes, you got to put on that party dress.
It was too cold to cry, when I woke up alone.
I hit my last number, I walked to the road.

Here's a scary fact:

My older kid scored tickets to Petty and the Heartbreakers when I couldn't.

Isn't she supposed to be in to shit like Lady Gaga and Katy Perry?

It's the old dope peddler,
Spreading joy wherever he goes.

I'm not old enough to remember "That Was the Week That Was," but my parents had every record he ever recorded.

I had the reverse happen last year. But it was scary too . .. I scored Tix to see the Eagles and my oldest could not. Then I got Tix for him and his wife too. . . just 4 seats from ours!

Before my time as well. . . and my parents were into Johnny Cash, Lester Flat & Earl Scruggs, and Bill Monroe. . .
Mom thought my bringing a Beatles LP into the house was a sacrilege, and the Stones were even worse. . .

When kids are these days singing purple dinosaur songs, I was singing Ruby Tuesday on WLS via my AM transistor radio!

Most appropriate recreational pharmaceutical number for the present circumstances:

Y'all remember "The New Riders of the Purple Sage"?

Ev'ry year around around about this time it all goes dry.
Nothing round for love or money that'll get ya high.

Henry got pissed off and said he'd run to Mexico.
See if he could come back holdin' twenty keys of gold.
