Heard on the news there's a 3 story building in that hole and that it was 300ft deep.  I guess so far there is only one known death.

These things (Romalea guttata grasshoppers) must be humpin' like rabbits in my neighborhood.  They're ALL over the place in large numbers.

Come to the Devil's Playground the first week in October for the West Side Nut Club's Fall Festival. Six blocks of food booths -- all local clubs and associations -- each selling only ONE thing. Like monster ears, brain sandwiches, frog legs, stuffed pepper soup, scorpion pops, and of course, chocolate covered fried grasshoppers. Better yet, there are also chocolate covered pigs toes.
