I think it is very cool, that one year ago there was a 23 year old Chicago kid, mixing paint for a living, is NOW the American Idol and is about to sign a cool, $1 million contract....his life has changed for ever...and he really seems like a good kid.....

the past winners are doing very well for themselves....even those who finished tenth place are making a very nice and comfortable living......

Look at Chris Daughtry, he finished fourth and NOW he is traveling the globe, having the time of his life, playing music....he was won several awards and HE was just a service manager for a car lot four years ago....

Sheesh. I just saw the most expensive implementation of that philosophy I have ever personally witnessed. BP is using the robotic arm of the deepwater ROV to grasp a wrench and bang on the BOP!  :rolleyes: :mad:
