I have. . . at least twice that I can recall. . .

Once as a kid, fresh out of the shower on a warm mid summer day, after spending the morning delivering papers back when you had to use your bicycle and it was still a kids job.

I hopped aboard my Schwinn Sting Ray and began making my way down the alley toward one of my buddy's house and "SPLAT", right on the leg of my nice and clean jeans. . .   That bird must have been holding it for quite awhile too. That was the first shot fired in the great pigeon Holocaust of suburban Chicago. (I bought a nice BB rifle that afternoon).
