Yup! People think its amusing to see a 70+ pound pit bull standing and waiting for us to wipe off his paws when he comes in too!  :biggrin: (At least we did that right by doing it from the day we brough him home. He will not come into any home unless one of us first wipes off his paws. . . :biggrin:

Last time we went to the vet he couldn't believe it. There was snow on the ground and when we got to the door the dog stopped dead, and of course I took out the towel and wiped his paws for him. Vet said he wished everyone would do that because it really helps keep their paws healthy. He just laughed when I told him how he always does that no matter where we take him.  Even if I forget, he reminds me.  :biggrin:

Thankfully our refuse collectors have an automatic dump arm and they don't have to manually dump our trash. They'd be pissed this week. Snow's gone and left behind a TON of doggie doo, which I spent an hour cleaning up yesterday afternoon.  :biggrin:

LMAO! My wife and I have had that conversation. . . and the funny thing is the blasted dog would wear them if we bought them!  :biggrin: He'd have a closet full of clothes too if I'd let that happen. I drew the line after the Harley shirt and hat, which he will wear and knows are "his". If you pick them up you better be ready to dress the pit bull!  :biggrin: :rolleyes:

I had a lab for a while that I trained to wait until I wiped her paws when she came in.  If I forgot to get something to wipe her feet before I let her in she would sit and whine until I got back to her with the rag 'cause she wanted to go to her warm bed.  When spring came she went outside permanently 'cause she was too big to have in the house, well I felt she was.
