Mine changed.  At least the laptop did....I'll have to check the desktop when I get home.
Looks like I've come full circle.

Mine didn't even after the update a few weeks ago.

Do you have your time settings for Indiana time? or Eastern?  Used to be Indiana time didn't have the daylight savings enabled.

I just noticed it changed sometime today.  Don't know why it didn't change last night.

Duh, never mind.  I looked at a clock I hadn't changed yet....LOL  I moved it back manually.  Guess if it won't stay I'll go into DOS and change it.

Hum. that's right.  Wonder why my 'puter didn't change.

What OS is it running and what's your time zone?

Windows XP and DST

Depending on how XP landed on that machine, you may be running a version of XP without the DST patch installed.  If you recall, XP was already out when the government decided to extend DST both in the spring and in the fall.  The original versions of XP didn't (and couldn't) take that into account because it hadn't happened yet.  As a result, MSFT released a patch that would allow computers running XP to be able to figure out when to change the time going forward.

You can find the patch here:

I think I might have to do it again since it didn't work when they sent the update.  I did have the option for DST and it isn't there now for some reason.  I'll give it a whirl tomorrow when I'm more awake.  Thanks for the link.

But if you just used the Eastern time zone option...you didn't need to the patch. That's only if you kept it on Indiana Eastern.

I changed it to Eastern time (US/Canada)  and the DST option is back.  It must have changed it when it updated and I didn't notice....duh  Thanks

Because it's the start of a new week of doing nothing?   :icon_twisted:
