Looks like it's just us....don't you just hate holiday weekends, when everyone is too busy to hang out here?

Well, we now have 6 meat loafs in the freezer for winter.......Now to get some more of the ground chuck while it's still on sale and do up some patties for burgers and some 1 and 2lb chunks for chili and stuff.....

Hum, never thought about putting chili over cornbread.  I might just have to try that sometime....

I don't put it over cornbread, but when I eat out.....like at Ponderosa or Ryan's, and they have chili and cornbread, I'll eat it in place of my normal peanut butter/butter sandwich.

Never tried the cornbread at either place 'cause I figure it's sweet and I don't care for sweet cornbread.  It does sound kind of good though.

You know...when I'm eating it with Chili, I'm not sure if it's sweet or not....the chili seems to be sweeter than what I make at home though.

yeah baby, just take a piece of cornbread, put chili on it, some cheese, and eat till you explode
