I imagine they will have pennies as long as people who determine prices can't seem to figure out how to round up to 5's and 10's.  Why the heck do items cost $?.97? ? ? ?   And why does the price of gas include 9/10ths of a cent?
Looks like I've come full circle.

LMAO!!  Check out these new smileys from the pop up.

That first one will save me a lot of time that I currently spend typing responses to Henry's posts.
Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

I don't even know why they still have pennies...it costs more to make them than they're worth.
I don't think that's true any longer.

What do you expect?  If it's a penny, it is cheap.  Can't even rub two of them together to buy anything any more.
I don't think you'd dare try to rub them together now 'cause they'd probably crumble.

You should have looked it up.
I guess they probably do break it down and include part of the wages, utilities, and maintenance on the machine in the cost of the finished product.  The material certainly ain't worth that.

Well, we got our yard all weeded, mowed, and ready for the rain tomorrow so it will, once again, look like we haven't done a thing....

When I hear rain is coming.  I just put off the yard work another day.

We always put our flags out and we wanted the yard to look good but it would appear we won't be putting the flags out from the looks of the weather map.  Yard looks good though....

You know I did the same thing. Spent a whole day on my yard, mowed, it, edged the walks by hand, pulled the weeds out of the driveway.   My yard is a bit weedy and I don't have any plants or flowers for aesthetics, but it still looked pretty good.  Next thing I know I've got those freaking weeds ..... skinny, tall with a little bullet shape on top...all over the yard.  I give up. LOL

Kind of looks like I'll be doing our corn and steaks inside instead of on the grill along with the mushrooms and onions....

Ditto. But I least I have nice red homegrown tomatoes to slice. I wound up with four of them ripe for today. Hot damn!

Dang, McClure's is giving a discount on gas for paying cash now.  We paid $2.52pr gal and got $20 but paid only $19.61.  Works for me....

A lot of stations down here in the Devil's Playground give discounts for cash. That's because they have to pay a percentage of total credit card receipts to the credit card companies. I think the lowest is still 4% of the ticket price. I like the convenience of just sliding the card and paying at the pump, but for the discount, I'll walk inside and hand over folding money.
