I used to do that but got over it.  I HATE SNOW!!!!!!  *Except on Christmas eve and Christmas day.

I was looking for a quote for my signature line and ran across this one and it totally cracked me up (this is a glimpse into my childishness . . . as if I haven't shared that already :biggrin: )

MUNCIE, Ind. -- Actor Erik Estrada has returned to Muncie to take part in overnight police patrols in the city where he starred in the short-lived reality series "Armed & Famous."

The former star of the 1970s motorcycle cop drama "CHiPs" is a reserve officer on the Muncie Police Department.

The 60-year-old actor plans to work the midnight shift for three nights this week, patrolling city streets from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.

He took target practice at the police gun range on Wednesday. Saturday, he plans to help officers at a charity event.

Estrada filmed "Armed & Famous" for CBS in Muncie in the winter of 2006-07. He and several other celebrities patrolled the city as reserve officers.

He also returned to Muncie last winter to keep up his reserve officer status.

I mean come on! The guy is 60 years old and has been an actor his entire public career! Surely Muncie has a lot of far better qualified candidates to fill this reserve spot with?!

He runs across a hard core criminal type out here and he'll get a severe case of the drizzles I assure you!  :biggrin:

I just wonder what the hell he is trolling for; perhaps a lead role in a new Dirty Harry movie? Or perhaps a role in the remake of the CHIP's series?

I think it is pretty cool that he is doing this....he helps raise money for police charities....probably more so, than some joe blow would...

I didn't realize that.  I just never really cared for him as an actor.
