None whatsoever to this day. She isn't sorry for what she did. None of them are. They're only sorry they got caught. What a senseless waste of a life. They killed those people and wasted their lives, and in doing so, they wasted their own lives. It's beyond comprehension the devastation the entire incident caused. I don't know what provokes people to do such things. Ya know, she's had a pretty good life while she's been incarcerated. She's been married 3 times, and has always gotten conjugal visits with her husbands . Her and the other 2 live in dorms, not in the general population. They have gotten all kinds of college degrees. It hasn't been a horrible wretched life for them. Old Charlie is still as crazy as he was on day one. He has fans  and has actually cut a record from prison. People send him money and gifts. That POS actually is an icon in some deluded people's minds. 

You're right and I agree. It's amazing the fame they've gotten from the murders. Do you think the Beatle's song helped that along?  I met Squeaky. I'll have to tell you about it sometime.

I think the brutality and horror of it, is what really made it stick in peoples minds. I wasn't even born when that happened. The amount of evil involved just blows people's minds. I think they all should have been executed as originally planned. If anybody ever deserved the death penalty, it was that clan. Squeaky is still staunchly devoted to Manson. I bet she's a total nut. I think we would all like to hear what she's like.... do tell.

I guess they think Leslie Van Houten has a very good chance at parole.  I guess she has shown "some" remorse. One of the other Manson followers, that wasn't involved in the Tate murders, but was involved in the LaBianca murders, may be getting a new trial. I hope he doesn't get out either. One of the other Manson family members has been released, and plays in a band.

I thought he was doing the band thing from prison didn't know he had been released.  Why is one of them getting another trial?  Seems rather moot after all this time.

Steve Grohgan was convicted on separate charges. There are bunch of Manson followers. After the Tate/La Bianca murders other family members were involved in murdering other people.  After Steve Grohgan was paroled he dissapeared. Nobody knew where he was for 20 years. It was recently discovered that SG has been traveling with a band all these years. Bruce Davis is getting another parole hearing. He's getting another parole hearing, because his lawyer filed a writ of habeas corpus after his 2006 parole denial. Apparently, the judge looked at his prison records ,and decided to give him another parole hearing.

I never did really follow that very close so I never did know how many were involved or any of the particulars.  I'd just hear something every so often on the news and I guess I missed a few of the stories huh?  I think they all need to stay right where they are.

I agree they do need to say where they are. Some of them could still be a danger to society IMO. Squeaky Fromme tried to assassinate President Ford. I think they're just a bunch of loose cannons ready to blow to this day. It's much better to keep them where they can be watched.

Well, Maddie had her kittens last night. She was in hard labor for about 2 hours. The delivery went smoothly ,and here's a BIG SHOCKER...... Dudley is not the babies' daddy!!!! Max is the only other possibility. In a way it's a relief because if they were Dudley's, they wouldn't have a good chance of surviving. They all seem reasonably healthy. There are 6 and all are black and white. Usually, there is a dead one in he bunch, but that wasn't the case this time. There was a MAJOR problem early this morning. All 6 of them somehow got tangled up in one of them's umbilical cord. Each one of them had a paw wrapped around the others foot, and they were all wound together by the piece of umbilical cord. You talk about a disaster??? One of the kitten's feet had no circulation going to it. I had to work fast to get that foot unwound. It took me an hour to get them all separated. I have my doubts about that foot though. I worked with it and tried to get the blood circulating, but I don't know how it's going to come out. I'll keep everybody posted.

I checked its foot about 15 minutes ago, and it doesn't look good. The circulation hasn't returned to it, and the actual foot is puffed up like a balloon. It doesn't seem to be painful, and the kitten seems normal. We'll just have to wait and see. I hope it doesn't have to be amputated. I don't even know if that's a possibility since it's soooooo tiny.

my puppy got a hold of one of my kittens and put a tooth hole right above her eye.  Sadie was trying to drag it around by its head...poor little thing.  I tried to doctor it myself with some antibiotic ointment I had, but her little eye swelled shut and was all nasty and had pus in it.  I ended up having to take her to the vet.  He gave her a shot and 2 different medications.  After a week, it is looking a lot better.  The swelling has gone down and I can see her eye again. The hole is still there but healing nicely.  Now if I can only teach sadie that the kittens are NOT chew toys....
