i haven't layed out much over the years.  maybe twice or less per summer.  i have olive skin, i think i tan an odd color.  almost a golden grey brown.  there are some new pix of it in my room on here.  (i get way darjer than i am right now.)

I seen the pics, they are really good.  It doesn't look like an odd color to tan on my 'puter it looks kind of reddish brown.

Be careful..... you don't want to become a crispy critter.  Another consideration...... when you sun tan too much, you end up looking like a troll doll in later life.  You don't want that.  My Gawd.... I've become a Debi Downer!!! 

I know, but you're right. I didn't use to care how much sun I got and now I'm noticing how some of the older sun goddesses look much older than what they are. I have a couple friends who have developed skin cancer because they refuse to wear sunblock. I over do it sometimes myself, but I try to take sun in small doses until I've got a decent base tan, then I increase my exposure to the sun. If I feel like I'm getting a burn at all, I grab the sunblock. Oh, and I never lay out in the sun. Way too boring. I just enjoying being outside in the sun, doing something.

Same here.  I never "try"to get a tan, it just occurs naturally, when I'm working in the yard. I know a lot of people who go to the salon, and the more they go, the older their skin looks.

Some how the thought of getting stuck a gagillion times with a needle just don't thrill me at all.  Guess I'm what ya might call a chicken even though I've seen some tattoo's I wouldn't mind having. 

Some of them are pretty cool. But, you won't catch this fool getting one.

lol... once the freshly baked by the sun goes away... i am the color that an olive skin tone tans.

I didn't!!!!! God forbid we have a repeat of last week.  Actually it went great. No problems at all.    I may have gotten a slight sun burn though.
