monday i had my hair re-done.  now instead of glaring pink highlights, they are the blondest i've ever had with light pink.  i did take a pic or two--haven't seen them yet, though.  perhaps, i'll upload today--if anyone cares.  lol.

I wanna see. Don't you just hate hair disastrophys? They're the worst. I hate it when I cut my bags too short, and I look like a moron.

It is the paparazzi. They lurk everywhere, and when you're not expecting it they ambush you!!! It happens to me all the time.

I have to have bangs to. I think I have a high forehead or something. My hairline has receded a lot in the past year. I'm probably going bald.  I look like a nincompoop without bangs.

RE: Mr Kings "Accident":

Somebody asked what happened. It was 19 JUNE 1999:

"Horror author Stephen King was seriously injured when he was struck by a minivan while walking in North Lovell, Maine, Saturday, Maine State Police said.

King, 51, was walking south on the shoulder of a road in North Lovell, where he owns a home, at about 4:30 p.m. when a motorist approaching from behind lost control of his Dodge Caravan, Oxford County Sheriff's deputy Matt Baker said. Baker said a dog in the van distracted the driver.

King was transported to Northern Cumberland Hospital and then flown by helicopter to Central Maine Hospital.

According to Laird Covey, vice president of medical affairs for Central Maine hospital, King was conscious and alert, in serious but stable condition, and was able to communicate with his family. Officials said the injuries were orthopedic in nature but family didn't release the details of them.

Late Saturday night King was being prepared for surgery, and was expected to remain in the hospital for several days.

Police said charges will not be filed against the driver.

An eyewitness at the accident scene said King "was breathing and laying in a heap and he was all tangled and I could tell his leg was broken." "

I own a near complete collection of his work; I have been a fan for a very long time. The movies rarely if ever compare to his writing.

Someone mentioned he "connects" his stories, and this is very true and done intentionally. He mimics Alfred Hitchcock in that if you watch closely he is usually in every single one of his films in a cameo role.

A master of horror in every sense of the word IMHO. Now if only the film makers could do a better job of transferring his work to the screen. . .
