Gonna see if we can find a used DVD to buy.  If not we might just have to spring for a new one....

If you were nice to me I'd prolly be able to burn you a copy and risk federal prosecution for piracy!
Might take ya up on that if we can't find a copy.  I'm gonna have to check out my program again since I got my new CD/DVD drive installed.  It had quit working but I have a feeling it wasn't the program it was the burner that went bad.

I have the movie.....and when I first started watching it, I thought it was new. Since there is actually a paperback on sale at Payless about the story.  As I was watching the beginning of it, it seemed way too familiar. I haven't purchased the book so I knew I hadn't read it about it there.  The longer I watched it, the more I just knew I had seen or read it somewhere. So I went looking.  In the book Skeleton Crew, which is a compilation of short stories.....the story is in there. So if you already have that book....read it.  The story is ALWAYS better than the film.....and it's the same in this case.
Looks like I've come full circle.

A lot of times Steven King movies are similar with each other. I think he does it intentionally as a trademark. He comes up with some doozies. Makes ya wonder what goes on in his head.  :spooked: He is one scary dude.

I'm thinking it was a rather serious auto accident but don't recall the details either.

That has been years ago. I think he was in bad shape for quite a while? Didn't somebody get killed in that wreck? I can't remember.
