Puhleeze, I don't worry about it at all. My house your problem. :biggrin: Seriously, I keep my home clean, but I have a dog and a kid and at times it's not as neat as I'd like it, but the way I see it, she'll remember the fun things we do together more than whether the house was spotless or not. So, if you (general term) drop in on me unexpectedly and if I'm actually home, you may have to move a book, newspaper or dog to sit down, but we love company. If that offends you then I guess  you won't be back. ;D

My Dad judges people by how clean their house is. He doesn't approve of my cats either. He thought I ought to have had the kitten euthanized, instead of spending a bunch of money, on tests and surgery. He really doesn't get me at all.  :no:

The way I see it, that's still his problem. Dex you're happy and you're taking care of those kitties/cats when no one else will. That's a very loving and kind thing to do. Maybe he'd like to judge, but from where I sit he's not looking at what's important. My MIL was that way. I loved her dearly and she and I got along great. Of course I wanted her approval, but I had to learn to get over it, because if everything was perfect, she'd still find something I didn't do right. I don't have to deal w/that any more, but I got over it quick. I had to recognize that was the way she was and not let it get to me.

You're absolutely right PIYA. I don't know why I crave approval from my Dad. In a way, I've had to be the golden child. My sister is sooooo messed up, that I feel a sense of pressure to make my Dad happy. He told me today, I should get rid of my cats, and adopt a child.  :rolleyes: I can't have any of my own, and at this point I don't want any. When I was a kid, Dad use to tell me the 2 worst things you can do in life, is get married and have children. That always made me feel reeeeeal good.  :rolleyes: I grew up knowing I wasn't wanted. I always thought I was adopted LOL!!!!  :biggrin:

I always thought I was 'cause my Mom hated me soooo bad, when I was growing up.  :yes: She never hid how she felt about me that's for sure. I'm a stronger person because of it though.  :yes:  I think that's why I have a tremendous sense of humor, about everything in life LOL!!!  :biggrin:

I do too!  I now make it with green tea!  Why not try and get as many antioxidants in as possible!!  My fresh mint is growing too!  I hope it spreads this year.  I love mint in my tea!
