I heard about the earthquake but didn't think it got that far north.  Shows ya how much I paid attention...Guess I need to see if it was felt here and I slept through it too...

We live about 3 miles from it but you can hear it all over town on a calm night.   :yes:

I live about 3 blocks from it.  If I am inside...I don't hear it.  Must be because my walls are 4 bricks thick.  Gotta love these 1890's schoolhouses.

That is close.  I'm surprised some of the sound don't penetrate through the windows.

I had unexpected company this morning. I hate unexpected company.  :mad: It was my Dad. My house is very clean compared to normal standards, but my Dad is a clean house freak. Of course I wasn't expecting him, so by his standards my house was probably a wreck. I always tell people.... call before you come, but Dad just usually shows up out of the blue. Then I sit around and stew, about whether my house was clean enough for him LOL!!!  :biggrin:

I used to be like that but I would rather be out in the yard in the summer so the house suffers.  It isn't actually dirty but it isn't actually spotless either.
