Last one I made was years ago to quit smoking.  I put out a cigarette as the ball was dropping saying I wasn't going to have another one ever, well, it lasted about an hour into the new year.  So much for new years resolutions.... :rolleyes:

LOL!!!! My hubby quit smoking 10 years ago today. He smoked 3 packs a day. In the Winter, he'd choke, and cough, and spit up black stuff, everytime he went outside. One morning he went to light up, and he thought about it for a minute, and said to himself" I'm not doin' this shit to myself anymore", and threw the pack out the window, and has never had one since. It takes great strength to quit cold turkey like that, and I'm sooo proud of him.  :yes:

Last year I resolved to never make any future resolutions in an inebriated state or otherwise; therefore this year I drank about 8 Guinness, several shots of Patron, and about a dozen or so Jello shots before the NY arrived, assuring I was not in the correct state of mind to make such a drastic decision!  :biggrin:

Move south and ya' won't have to worry about the damn snow.  ;D

Even though it's going to be cold around here for the next couple of days, the 70s should be back by Friday, and there's no snow in the forecast at all.

Spend the whole month of Nov. planning things so we won't have to go out when it gets really cold if we don't want to and what happens......its colder than crap out today and we have to go out....gggggrrrr  :rant:
