I walk probably 50 miles when I run my butt off at work LOL!!! Thursdays are my busiest day of the week. I work the early shift, and then do my shopping and errands. I'm totally wiped out tonight. I did make walnut brownies though.  I'm never too tired to make brownies.

wonder what you gotta do to get a drink around here????

It's always darkest before the dawn.  So if you're going to steal your neighbor's newspaper, that's the time to do it.

HH must have taken the night off. He told us it's an open bar. I believe he keeps the key to the door, under the mat.  Go ahead and stroll on in.

mmm... brownies... i'm never too tired to eat brownies.

grrr... gotta walk a few miles today... off to the pharmacy to pick up my son's medication.  i hate crossing route 20.  if i get hit by a truck--just know that i loved you all.

seriously, that is some dangerous crap.  (and in the rain, too...)  i'm not paying a cab $6 down and $6 back.  (besides, that's more money than i am worth.)

I'm having a brownie as I post. It's totally ridiculous how much they charge for cab fare.

omg.  that b!tch.  i called rite aid monday (or tuesday) and asked that they order my kid's pills.  they promise to do it and have them by today.  i call again today to confirm.  she promises me they will definitely have them by 10:30/11:00.  i walk down.  they don't have them and never will.  i'm pist.  she apologizes.  by now it is lunchtime rush traffic.  i walk to subway (same side of the road).  order.  call my mother who promises to be right there so we can hunt down aother drug store.  i wait 30 minutes.  i walk home.  i wait over an hour.  school calls.  middle kid was injured on the playground.  i walk up and fetch him.  my mother finally decides to show up.  wants food, money, and a sub.  holy freaking devils.  the ex calls when i get home.  his gramma died.  he's not coming to pick up my older 2.  fine.  calls back to hear me talk.  i go to get my remaining kids from school (they promised to have the book order ready).  it was not ready.  went up the hill for nothing.  nope, wait.  some kid told the oldest that the youngest left the building.  oldest was FRANTIC thought he lost his brother.  we go back in the school.  youngest was with an aide trying to find oldest.  meanwhile, i had to carry middle around--he really banged up his hip.  (fell on the concrete parking lot at recess.)  jesus, does it ever end?  mom calls.  wants to pick up my kids.  whatever.  comes, goes, i sit here freaking out.  this day has been arse.  (and i'm waiting for my victim so we can go get groceries, as friday is walmart day.)  i am fighting the urge to scream... that or drink.  both would make me feel a lot better.

sorry for the rambling.

We're always here for you ~vxn~. It sounds like you've had a hell of a day. Sometimes when things go wrong, it seems like a train derailment. It's one thing after another. If I was you, I'd scream and drink.  :beers: Usually, when I have a day like that, I grab my cats, and cuddle them. If it's real bad, I'll sit and hold them and cry. Look on the bright side, when you get your DL, it will get much better for you. At least you don't live out in the boondocks like I do, if I had to walk to town for food, we'd starve to death LOL!!! It would take a while for me to starve because, I'm a big woman. I'm not rotund. I'm more of an amazon LMAO!!!! It will get better for you ~vxn.  Feel free to vent anytime.

(i would not drive down there during lunch rush... lol.... probably more dangerous than walking it... there's a subway, little cesar's pizza, long john's/taco bell, wendy's, arby's, and a burger king all right there.)
