lol.... mmm... bonus stings.  lol... my favorite.

(for example someone would coordinate.  ppl would message coordinator their address.  coordinator would pick who gets paired with who.  exchange privately the addresses.  send a gift or card or photo.  no one knows who their santa was until reveal day.)

cool.  now we have to convince as many ppl as possible that it is a great idea.  lol.

i've done it before on another site.  i played cooridnator.  we'd find out who is interested by starting a secret santa thread.  we set a spending limit.  participants would private message me their name and mailing address.  i would pair ppl up.  i would then PM addresses to santas.  participants would send gifts to said giftees.  it's fun, as long as no one is a psycho pervert.  do we have any of those on board?

i should add that there was a restriction that limited participants to a certain length in membership or post count--for example a newbie would be barred (no one knows them well enough, etc.  trust is important when dealing with ppl's addresses....).

I know the worst is supposed to hit us around 10:00. Right now it's 9:40 and were having some high winds,and a steady down pour of rain. It's pretty gusty out now. Hopefully, we won't have hail or a tornado.  :spooked: I hate it when that happens.  :biggrin:
