I have a friend whose son is fascinated with monsters, ghools and zombies. He watches some of the old horror movies (old old ones that aren't so graphic) the way some kids do cartoons.

my victim picks on me for watching old b & w horror--the really ancient stuff... lol.... "that a good movie?"  lol... i find horror fascinating.  still trying to find something to scare me.

I think the original "Night of the Living Dead" is still good in black and white. Do you have "Chiller" channel ? I watch it all the time. It's one of my favorites. I bet you would love it.  :yes: This afternoon they ran the black and white original version "Werewolf of London". They have a lot of the old black and white movies.

i'm not sure i do... i'll have to look for it....

i watch the old ones on tmc or tcm... turner movie classics?  (all oldies all day... i think friday nights are the scaries...)

Oh wow!!!! You have got to get "Chiller"!!! You would LOVE it!!!! We have Direct TV. It's a relatively new channel. They show a lot of the older movies. They also show old TV series like, "Tales from the Crypt" "Monsters", "Freddy's Nightmares" "Friday the Thirteenth:the series" "Twin Peaks"> my favorite< "Night Gallery" >another of my favorites< "Twilight Zone"  "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" "American Gothic" and a bunch more. You should seriously check it out. I love it.  :smitten:  :hal3:

I've been thinking of switching over to Directv when I get stablized again.  But then again, if Dishnetwork has it, maybe I'll just sign up for it there, if they give me back my satellite. :wink:  Chiller would be my favorite station. It used to be Sci-fi, but they screwed up my friday night lineup so I found other channels to watch. LOL
Looks like I've come full circle.

we had directv for a while... bill kept getting higher... something kept going on with the internet... so we switched to cable--have been thinking about going back to directv...

omg... i would love that channel.  the twilight zone is awesome... i love scary shows...  :smitten:

And that's exactly why my family sits in the dining room around the table to eat dinner.  I HATE the tv on while we are eating.  In my new house, my dining room is far away from the tv....YEAH!!!  More families should take the time to have family dinner around the table.  Talk to your kids, find out what happened in their day...I love family dinner time.

Ya know, Dishnetwork may have it.  :yes: The channel is owned by Universal Studios. It's pretty good. There is one thing that bugs the hell out of me though. They edit the movies. They cut out the foul language. Which is good if you don't like hearing it. IMO it takes away from it. It doesn't come off real in some situations. Sometimes you just gotta cuss to get the point out LOL!!! Other than that it's great.  :yes:
