mental illness runs rampant in my family.  my mother has pushed her illness into my brother's.  they fight constantly--but he feels he NEEDS her.  absolutely toxic. 

(there is nothing wrong in venting, dex...)  i'm sorry it went that way for you--i'm the black sheep of my family.  i got the crappy end of the stick a lot as a kid and a lot now.  i turn as much of it around as i can.
don't threaten me with a good time.

I have a few folks I would like to throw under the train.  The bus just wouldnt be bloody enough.
Anyone got an Amtrak Schedule?
It's always darkest before the dawn.  So if you're going to steal your neighbor's newspaper, that's the time to do it.

My Mom absolutely sucks the life out of everybody. She absorbs all the energy around her. She's extremely bitter and hateful, and mentally ill enough, that you have to be on guard at all times. When I go to visit her, and take hubby he drives home, because I'm soo drained, I fall asleep a half a block from her apartment, when we leave. We're talking about a 3 hour visit LOL!!! My sister and my Mom fight constantly too. It gets on my nerves, and I tell them, knock it off or I'm going home. I live an hour and a half away,and don't go visit very often. It's all I can do to go there.  :no:

been writing lately myself...

nothing to be super proud of... but i'm glad the block is gone.  writer's block is a fate worse than death.  might even have some material for a children's poetry collection.  never done that before.

My legs hurt, my arms hurt, my back hurts, ouch!!!

I had women's league ball practice Saturday night.  Of course, I had to show out, now I'm paying for it.  Thanks God for Excedrin Back and Body!!!

Everything hurts. It has been revealed to me that I am no longer the young buck I once was!  :rolleyes:

I'm getting a bit long in the tooth to be schlepping furniture upstairs, downstairs, and into the back of a truck!  :biggrin:

I initially felt like day two of boot-camp. At one point I recall asking for someone to amputate my hands so they would stop hurthing last week!  :biggrin:

I still own a tv set that is a 32 inch screen console, enclosed with a nice oak cabinet. After this move the next place that tv goes is out the window! No way I am moving that again if I can help it. :o

In contrast, we purchased a nice 42 inch HDTV and I can lift that thing all by myself! Heck, I can tote it around. But not that 32 incher! :biggrin:
