You have to love Virginia. Where else can you go to a highschool baseball game, park next to an orange Lamborghini (sp?) and listen between innings to a song titled "I met my wife in the porta john line".

We went to VA to visit our daughter and her family. We were able to see both boys play baseball, go on a night tour of DC and spend time with our granddaughter. It was a good visit. They don't have good internet connections. They can't get cable and don't have a land line so they use the Verizon hot spot and it is timed. I didn't want to use up their minutes.

DC is beautiful at night, the part we seen anyway which was around the White House and that area.  I was there several years ago when we took a little extra time on our way to visit my daughter an SIL when they were in Norfolk.  Always wanted to go back during the daytime and take some tours but never got to even though we went to Norfolk several times after that.  Glad you had a good time.

Tried that once and it made a mess in the dryer, clean up was harder than it is from throwing spaghetti against the fridge to see if it's done too. 

your supposed to throw it on the wall. sometimes i do the whole pot just to make sure.  and the little squiggly bumps take paint pretty good.

Well crap, no wonder it never stuck and my spaghetti always turned out more like mush.... been doin' it wrong all this time......I'll be sure to throw it against the wall next time.

Thanks, this was the third time we have been to DC and still haven't seen all that we want to. It is a lot of walking, which is sometimes a problem for my husband, he has trouble with his knee sometimes.

I have a friend who has trouble with her knees too, they swell up like a large grapefruit, and she is usuallly down for a couple of days if we do too much.  With me it's my darn hips...golden years heck....they may be golden but they sure come with a lot of things, like pain, to slow ya down.

Thursday is "Thor's Day". And true to form, Thor took out his hammer this evening and raised a little hell in Delaware County!
