It was closer than the 1st quarter of that game would have indicated. . . I missed the rest of it except for the last 3 minutes of quarter 4. Had to run out and do some vehicle maintenance and pick up a few things. . .

The Denver Broncos and Peyton Manning are going to SuperBowl 50!  8)

Their defense rocked Brady's ass for all 4 quarters, and I took unabashed pleasure in seeing him slammed to the turf over, and over again! (They drew blood too).  :icon_twisted:

My prediction is they will be playing Carolina; another team that has "earned" the trip to 50. (In my opinion).

I will not be disappointed if Arizona goes though. BA has done an awesome job with that team. . .

Yeah, the opposite of the Carolina game in which Cam Newton and company had their way with the Cardinals. (Cats eat birds!)

I'm hoping Super Bowl 50 is a shoot out that sees back and forth lead changes; ending with Manning getting his second ring. That would be a storybook ending to his career if this is the point where he chooses to get out and do something else.

I fear if they do not win, he'll go the Farve track of playing for yet another team and trying to get that ending. The fact is, if the doesn't get it in SB 50, he will not find a better team, at a better time again.

And the whole ignoring of the role their backup QB played in keeping them in the mix by putting up wins while Manning sat on the sidelines hurt, is just totally unacceptable. Not one single word of acknowledgement from anyone on the team was made. But the fact is if he isn't the starter next season, (the backup I mean), then he's going somewhere else. And that in my opinion would be a HUGE mistake on Denver's part.  :yes:
