My wife and I took the punkinhead to Colts Camp today at Anderson University.

Luck looked sharp, as did the wide receivers, but conversely the defense got burned on a regular basis. . . For whatever that is worth. . .

Punkinhead's favorite player in the red shirt. And when he saw him he then wanted a red shirt Andrew Luck Lego!  :roll eyes:  (He already had the white one, and we got him the Blue shirted one on the way out.)

I purchased a Colts Nike Shirt for my wife as a souvenir, and here's the one I got:



My guess is it will disappear when Punkinhead next comes over. . .  :biggrin:

The Dolts are down 26 - 10 in the fourth. . .  :icon_twisted:

ONE WORD.................................................PRESEASON!  It means absolutely NOTHING.  I think they need to cut the preseason down to two games and get down to business.

Okay.  I saw that on an ESPN news ticker so I had to look it up. 

Doesn't sound as bad in context:

Well if Luck's history stay's true, they should win three POST season games this year....

His first year, he had 11 wins and 0 post wins...
His second year, he had 11 wins and 1 post win...
Last year he had 11 wins and 2 post wins...

SO....with the excellent acquisitions they made during the off-season....they should be knocking on the door this year....

I think 33 wins over three years is excellent, and I am proud of this team, the QB and the coaching staff....I will take them over any other team in the league.

I sincerely hope you are at least 50% right. But from what my eyes saw during camp and in the pre-season debacle, the defense remains as leaky as a sieve and that spells epic failure in my book. And a lot of it. . .

I got to admit, the defense is always scary to me.  I know they made SOME improvements, but....my experience is, that PRESEASON doesn't meas squat.  I remember that the 85 Bears preseason was 1-3 and we know how that turned out.

So, other than live game assessment of prospects, what is the purpose of the whole pre-season game structure as far as the fans are concerned? Wouldn't it be far better to hold opposing team scrimmage games within the camp structure?

I'll tell you why they don't do that. Because they can charge exorbitant prices for seats to games that are meaningless to the fans, obtain extra revenues, and fleece fans of their hard earned cash.  :rant:

I work with a number of season ticket holders that hawk every single pre-season ticket they own; for face value and above. And get it.
