The Bears benched Cutler for non-performance, (finally), and Clausen has done a fair job against the #2 ranked defense in the NFL thus far. Tied 7 all at the half and going into the 3rd quarter.

It'll be interesting to see which heads roll at the end of the season in Chicago. Cutler is gone at a minimum is my guess. (Or should be).

Indeed. I feel for Bears fans. They have to sit out in the cold and endure the Hawk blowing in off the lake, pay outrageous prices for the right to do so, and then be subjected to sub-par performances by a team that should have been in the hunt at year end; according to most analysts at the beginning of the season.

I fear the Colts are in for another one and done playoff appearance this year, but at least they got into the post season. And Denver is already showing signs of the post season choke syndrome I've come to expect from Peyton Manning lead teams. . . (It kills me to admit that too).

I'd say that cartoon is a fair representation of how many NFL City fans are feeling at the end of the regular season this year. . .  :yes:

I miss the glory days when Ditka and Ryan built Monsters of the Midway! When Sweetness was entertaining everyone, even our opponents.

I also agree that more than likely the Colts will be one and done!  But I am encouraged that they are on the right path to becoming a REAL contender.

As much as I adore Peyton Manning I fear a one and done with him too!
