I think it is.  It was on the NFL website earlier that he had accepted a contract.  Seems like a done deal to me.

I'm hearing he was on a chartered Jet to Ann Arbor this morning, and is scheduled to be introduced tomorrow night at the BB game there, to the Wolverine Nation. . . (Faux News)

There is a Facebook Page Welcoming him already. . .

That is what heard too....I was hoping there was a slight chance that the Bears was able land him as the head coach.  Okay, back to reality!

If the Bears pulled that off, I'd be half-way back to becoming a fan of the team again. . . But IMHO that team is going to once again be in rebuilding mode for the next 3-5 years. It will be that long before they get back into the hunt surrounding post-season play. Cutler, in my mind, is unsalvageable. But I hear the Bears are considering that Shanahan Guy since he has had the most success with him. . .

I can't help it, I like Jim Harbaugh. . . And for the 49'ers actually trying to trade him instead of outright firing him, I thought spoke well of his abilities, despite the differing philosophies of JH and the 49'ers organization. (Of course it was probably more about having to pay him than it was that. . . but still; they could have just fired him on Bloody Monday like the rest of them, but they did not). I sincerely think him moving to the college arena is a bad move for the NFL; but great for college football. (Michigan tuition will go up substantially though, but so will attendance).

I heard Mike Singletary being mentioned and even though I am a big fan of his, he never really impressed me wit his HC abilities, but it would excite some fans.

I saw where Harbaugh was also going to be Michigan coach while we at Buffalo Wild Wings on ESPN.

I hope you can read this story about Peyton Manning:http://www.indystar.com/story/sports/nfl/2014/12/31/peyton-manning-military-meets-fan/21101331/

Yes, I absolutely like Peyton Manning because he is an outstanding quarterback and strategist, but this story is an example of why I admire him for more than being an outstanding professional athlete.

1.) Wife of a serving Army member writes him a letter while hubby is on 2nd tour in the middle-east. He is a huge Manning fan, and asks for a meeting for husband at the Cincy-Denver game on 12/22. Doesn't provide any contact information at all. . .

Read what Manning does . . .

I have a personal friend who has a child with a disability, who also loves Manning. He and his child went to a fundraiser for the disease she is afflicted with and Manning was there. She went absolutely nuts when she saw him, and Manning went out of his way to personally meet her and spend time with her. He then provided tickets to the next home-game, AND personally brought her and dad onto the field during warm ups, etc.  That was years ago when he was still with the Colts. My friend talks about it to this day, as does his daughter.

Last year he took his daughter to a Broncos game for which they had seats very close to the Sideline. His daughter was beside herself with excitement to see him again during the pre-game warm ups. (Of course they went early). . . And he saw her, came over to her, and even remembered her name!

She got a ball from him at half time, which he personally autographed to her.

The guy has more class in his fingernail clippings than half the world has as a whole. And he is still doing those things!  8)

And I hope he does buy the Tennessee Titans as the rumor is saying he may. I will instantly become a Titans fan, if of no other reason than the fact that Manning owns them. . .

I think he and his whole family are class acts. But that is just me!

Henry Hawk

I have heard several great stories about him and never once have heard a negative thing about him.  He reminds me a whole lot of another GREAT by the name of PAyton!  Walter has thousands of similar acts of kindness to his fans!
THAT is Trait of greatness that exceeds their athletic abilities!

I absolutely agree. While I never met WP I did live in the area and was a huge fan while he played.

I will go with
Cowboys
Cardinals
Steelers
Bengals

Mine are the same for the first three.  I'm torn a bit on that Colts-Bengals game.  Indy is playing at home and the Bengals really haven't looked too good here in the last couple of weeks and just about didn't make it into the playoffs at all.
