Nope!  He's a dumb dumb. 

It's absolutely amazing that the people of Texas have tolerated, even supported him, as governor since 2000.  But then again, given some of the other shit I've seen coming out of that state (school curriculum immediately coming to mind), I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Perry is taking a page from Bachman's book - abolish the Department of Education. That way they could assure a whole new crop of uneducated voters the Republicans could count on.
