For several years, I prided myself at being the first person to exit an airplane at Skydive Anderson every year.  Of course, I didn't mention this until after the jump.

By chance was this as Ace Airport in Anderson.  If it was did you see me and my friend's gyrocopter up there.  We spent a lot of time up there flying it.     Yes, we seen a lot of people jumping out of a perfectly good flying airplane up there. :para:  :haha:  Didn't care to jump, flying the gyrocopter was enough excitement.   :gha:

Yes, it was at Ace and yes, I did see a gyrocopter and some other experimental aircraft out there from time to time.

BTW, everyone who's ever died in an plane crash thought they were in a perfectly good airplane.

Well Pale Horses looks like you're going to get some snow.   :snowbl:  From what I've have seen we will get 8 to 10 inches of snow with 35mph winds. :cold: :cold:  Being on the weekend, you won't miss any work.   :thinksnow: :snowbl: :snowball:

I always found gyrocopters a bit interesting.  A motorized engine for propulsion forward and a completely unpowered rotor in a constant autorotation state to generate lift.

Better watch those 35 mph winds in the cold.  That can plunge the wind chill factors to well below zero.

Locutus, I sure love that autorotation.      I was flying my gyro at about 1500 feet and the motor quit.   :gha:  I lowered the nose of the gyro to build up rpm on the rotor and I came down like a feather, not rolling a wheel on my bird.   :smitten: love that rototation.

                                     Three people you should watch.

                                     1. A religious leader who tells you how to vote.

                                     2.  A politician who tells you how to vote.

                                      3.  A draft dodger who tell you how to be patriotic.

Law of Logical Argument - Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about.  ;)

"You've probably noticed that opinion pollsters go out of their way to include as many morons as possible in surveys ... I think it's dangerous to inform morons about what their fellow morons are thinking. It only reinforces their opinions. And the one thing worse than a moron with an opinion is lots of them." -- Scott Adams

OK, where is everybody? If not doing your income taxes or some other vital something, I will worry.  This is one of the few places I can go to calm down and or get away from living too close to Washington, D.C.  So, wish all of you well. (Thanks, Y, for leaving the door open for needy people like me.

Hey Libby!  Not doing my taxes yet.  I owe money since I get alimony so I don't do them until very late.  Sick of the snow and ready for spring!  I thought we were done with 20 degree temps, but Tuesday and Wednesday proved me wrong.  On the upside, it is supposed to get warmer next week.  I want to get back into walking after work and need those warmer temps to do so. (The cold acerbates my asthma.)
