He's out and I believe holds a minor advisory role to the board; if that. GE is selling off subsidiaries as if it is a fire sale. They are hemorrhaging cash.

They will end up a mere shell of the global conglomerate they once were; if they survive at all.

Purely a market speculator's opinion that assumes they will pull out of the steep dive they are in. I am not so confident that is the case. Unless their drastic measures result in huge profits from the sale of subsidiaries. And then only if the sectors that remain in their portfolio are relevant and massively profitable. . .

That's a lot of things that have to happen for a global company to be able to survive in an era wherein trade tariffs are being implemented on an almost daily basis. The instability that is driving within the global economy is more than likely the last nail in the coffin for GE.

I actually expect them to be bought by a "turn and burn" investment firm once the fire sale is over. . .
