Ironic that the same people who feign such righteous indignation over removing a zygote from a woman's uterus have no reservations whatsoever about taking an actual living, breathing, thinking, feeling child from its mother's arms.
Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

What a game for the Chicago Cubs today. Baez stole home again, for the second time this year. Just one of 5 in the majors to do so in the last decade, and the first Cub to do so in the last 40 years! And of course, they won again, making it 6 in a row to this point.

The Cubs winning the World Series in 2016 was the only thing that could have brought me back to my childhood love of baseball, and now I cannot seem to shake it. I gave up on it when they went out on strike years ago. . . But then. . .

I just heard that all 12 boys and their coach are out and safe!!  So glad that it turned out to be a happy ending....even though a life was lost by a rescuer...I'm pretty sure this will be a movie next year at this time.

Good God!  I hope not.  Those boys, and their coach, should have never been in the damn cave to begin with.  Their collective irresponsibility cost a man his life.

Exactly!  There are actually warning signs at the entrance to the cave to discourage people from entering at this time of the year for exactly the reason the became trapped.

I'm not really a cave person anyway.  If it's a big cave like those in Kentucky that you can walk into...cool.  The caves in southern Indiana, however, that you have to crawl to get into and are now strewn with litter and spent batteries and rife with the fungal spores people are spreading that a re killing the bats...not so much.  They should lock the gates on those and let them be.

I agree, I think at the least, should only be open to experienced splunkers who understand the risks....not for a coach and some 14 year old soccer kids.  But, it will be a Hallmark movie in about 6 months.  With that said, I am happy that this turned out to be a somewhat happy ending for what could have been a real tragedy.
