And now we will see what the fate of Houstonians would have been had they tried to evacuate and experienced the grid lock that Florida is now going through with Irma.

Glad someone has talked to him.  We have several friends down there and some family. Some have headed north and some have found safe places to stay in their area just in case.

Most of our son's family is already with him in Atlanta or on their way. His oldest son is  a guard at a DOC intake center so he had to stay and work. I have cousins in Ft Myers, hope they are safe.

I am in Pennsylvania right now and was when the storm hit.  Reports from locally in my area are all good.   Some sporadic power outages still, and some problems with the gas supply, but most of my family and friends dodged a major bullet.
