I bet more than we know or hear about it.

Those guys wrote some curious lyrics and some amazing instrumentals....it is hard to NOT like them.

Indeed. I was one of the few in my circle of friends at school that loved Steely Dan. And I still do.

Some amazing memories come to me when I play their music. . . And it has never failed to change my mood and relax me whenever I feel wound a bit too tightly.

If anyone knows Rita Nixon Padgett who lives in Anderson, please tell her that I said thank you and that she's a very nice lady.

In 1989, while enlisted in the Air Force Reserve, Rita purchased a POW/MIA bracelet that she has been holding onto for the past 27 years.  The name on that bracelet was 1Lt Neil B. McKinney, who, at that time, had been listed as MIA since September 2, 1963, when his plane was shot down over South Vietnam.  His remains and those of his crew were finally repatriated in March of 1992 and identified in October of 1996.  He was the 54th casualty of that conflict.

Neil was my fiance's father.  After all of this time, Rita tracked down my fiance and they had lunch last Sunday during which Rita gave that memorial bracelet to Neil's widow, my fiance's mother.  The world could use a lot more people like Rita.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

Good story Ex!
Yes. Personal for me. When I went to work for the feds, it was for the POW/MIA Office in the Pentagon.

Maybe you should do the smart thing and go see a doctor, probably a heart doctor, at least go get a physical.  :ouch:   Fatigue can hid many things and heart problems in one of them and this could be a deadly thing for you. :dead:     A pace maker cured some of mine.  But when I told my heart doctor all of my problems, he said, " Troll most of your problems and is age related."  :haha:  Yep, in a year and  four months I'll be 80 Years old.  :trustme:
