Oh goody. It's going to rain on all those little goblins, witches, Luke Skywalkers, Drones, and Zombies on Saturday; ruining their opportunity to obtain sacks full of candy and the annual running up of the orthodontist bill festival!  :icon_twisted:

Have any of you guys ever have to deal with vertigo?  THAT is beginning to kick my behind right now.  I am trying to work through it.  I am already on anti-biotics and Clariton.

I am at work, and trying very hard to be as productive as I can, but it is tough.  Hard to even concentrate right now.

The first time it hit me was a bad one! I had no idea what was happening to me and I went to the emergency room. After a long battery of tests they couldn't find the cause, gave me meclizine and sent me home. I have had a couple of flashbacks since then but nothing like the first one!

Just tell everyone at work that it is not life-threatening, keep some orange cones with you and place them around you when you fall down.

Once, more than 25 years ago; it was the result of an ear infection.  My Dr. gave me some ear drops that cleared it up almost immediately.

I had to quit using Flonase for my sinus' because I started figuring out, finally, my bad attacks of vertigo happened after I had used it more than twice within a 3 day period. Same thing with Lisinopril. Within 20 min or so of taking that I was spinning like a top so I don't take anything for bp now and I darn sure won't use that damn nose spray again.

I feel your pain, Henry!  I've dealt with vertigo for the past 16 years.  Mine is usually caused by an inner ear infection that started as a cold although sometimes really bad stress can bring an attack on.  My doctor prescribed meclizine, which you can get over the counter.  It's called Bonine, and it's placed next to Dramamine.  It says to take one pill a day, but my doctor told me to take three pills a day.  It doesn't cure it, but it certainly helps with all the symptoms.  I've used Clariton before and never had problems with it.  Hope you get some relief!

Thanks Abby, I may try some of that Bonine stuff on my way home.  I got too much work going on right now, and as it is...I am struggling.
